Basically it’s reaction of body or immune system to external substance. Irritation and allergic reactions may cause itchy skin. Allergy may disturb your stomach, Headache, Eyes, Nose or any part of body depends upon your body reaction to some specific external substance or particle.


Allergic contact occurs when the skin comes into direct contact with an allergen (External substance that cause allergy).

Common Allergen are:

Grass or Tree antigen

Nuts, Fruit, Eggs

Dust mites

Spices like Jeera/Cumin


Certain medicines

Plastic Moulds

Household chemical

Pet Hair

Sun rays


Psychologically you may also experience itching feeling without having any physical cause. Anxiety usually makes a human to scratch their skin, lips, tips of finger or nail biting. An excessive scratching may further lead to skin or other problems.


Allergy symptoms may develop immediately or sometimes takes time being exposed to external substance, depends upon your Immune system.

Allergic reactions are usually nuisance and disturbed your normal routine.

Stress puts a great deal of pressure on your stomach, Shoulders, Neck, head and abdomen, and upsets hormone and neurotransmitter balance. Stress can create an environment where foods that could normally be digested easily end up being digested poorly, leading to the creation of gas and bloating and many other problems.

Stay relaxed Stay active through different Exercises, Mediation techniques, Yog Nidra, Breathing exercises etc.

2. Intake of Vitamin C in your diet for Allergies:

Vitamin C is one of most important nutrients for immune system. Vitamin C protects your body cells from damage, control allergic reaction and strengthen your immune system. Vitamin C can slow down the reaction of your body to external substances.

3. Use of Neti Pot for Nasal or Respiratory Allergies:

Use of Neti Pot is becoming quite popular people who suffer for Nasal, Chest issues. Treatment involves passing Lukewarm salt water through your Nostrils, water will flush out any mucus or allergens from the passage.

Neti Pots are easily available in the market or you can buy online. For Neti Pot treatment, mix salt in lukewarm water. Add water in Neti Pot, Tilt your head and pass the salt water from one nostril until it comes out of 2nd nostril. Repeat the process from opposite site.

Neti Pot treatment gives relax from Nasal and Chest related issues. You can apply Neti Pot once or twice a week.

Salt water may makes your nasal passage little dry so better pour drops of Coconut , Cow Ghee or Mustard oil after Neti Pot.

4. Honey for Allergies:

Honey is also useful for treating allergies for Nasal, Chest or Respiratory system.

Regular use of Honey once or twice a day alleviates allergic reaction and boost immune system.

Better to take (One tea spoon) Honey after Breakfast or Dinner and don’t consume anything after this. Adding little Black pepper in Honey will yield better result.

Flaxseed oil


Fish oil capsules or Raw Fish.

Fish oil is hard to digest so consume accordingly.

6. Use of Probiotics for Allergies:

Probiotic support healthy body systems from your mouth to your gut, and also helps to control harmful microorganisms like germs. Prebiotics food promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, while probiotics are live good bacteria. Probiotics aid digestion, improve nutrient absorption and strengthen immune system.

Probiotics occur naturally in fermented foods and cultured milk, but you can also find manufactured probiotic supplements from surrounding market.

7. Use of Sunscreen or Moisturizing cream for Skin Allergies:

If you skin is allergic from Sun or Outdoor pollution, recommended to apply Sunscreen or moisturizing while travelling outside.

8. Avoid substance which trigger Allergy:

It is always better to avoid substance which trigger allergy although may not possible to avoid all the time. Certain person may have allergies from certain food can be avoided. If you have allergy from Environment/Pollution or Sun, Better to cover your skin or face during travelling outside. It is always better to use mask while travelling outside.
